Dear Aileen Caitlyn Clarke no matter how WORN it is, it can be mend again to re-use by Poor & Needy instead of havin nothing on thier body, No one is saying just trash old things someone else can use but there are many issues involved in donating and not everyone knows a good local charity that will really do what they say. I’d just rather buy some new I Wasn’t Listening I Was Thinking Hunting Shirt with money I saved doing these things and donate those than take the chance of having whatever old clothes I donate going into the trash. Three quarters of the clothes that get donated wind up in the park landfill hehe there are even regulations on what’s acceptable to give away. For those of you wanting to make blankets, it takes more than this video shows. If you just sew pieces of Tshirts together like that, they will stretch out of shape from the weight of the whole thing. You need to use iron on interfacing on the back of the pieces to make them stronger before sewing them together and putting a backing material on. I love to quilt. This is the most recent I made for our first granddaughter.

I Wasn’t Listening I Was Thinking Hunting Shirt, Hoodie, Tank Top And Sweater For Men And Woman
I just graduated high school so i got a “grandma blanket” for my dorm room im not a huge fan of pink and normally stick with blacks and reds but my grandma used material she thought looked good together (and im the only one out of my 16 cousins who doesnt like pink so she forgot that pink isnt my color) but the splattered squares are old swim suit shorts with backing on them. Cut a large square around the design on the Tshirt. Try to make them all the same size. You can buy iron on interfacing at Walmart or most fabric stores. It will come with instructions. Once the interfacing is on, you can sew your squares together then cover the back with a backing material. Do a search on YouTube. There’s quite a few tutorials. Meganne O’Hara, you’re so right! I won’t say hand sewing sucks, but it is very tiring and time consuming. I did a scrap quilt top by hand a few years ago. Took a long time. just wash the damned thing and those that can be salvaged, donate to the I Wasn’t Listening I Was Thinking Hunting Shirt that do not have a home. Everyone needs clothes someplace.
